Invasive vine 2
This invasive-species vine is smothering very tall, ancient cedars, hiding the sun from the cedar's own leaves, and taking up all the moisture from the soil, starving the cedar from water, nutrients, and sunlight. Even just the weight of the amount of vine is physicall pulling down the cedars which used to be straight up vertical for decades, maybe even centuries.
The vine is even overtaking the guardrail, the road bank is covered with dog-strangling vine and wild-grape, no natural indigenous species can survive. It was better when this was just grass that was mowed once in a while, and the ancient cedars were allowed to live.
