Ground Floor Joist Infill
The joists are laid directly onto the beams.Steel fixings are driven in between the joists into the beam and temporary wooden shuttering is placed between joists. Into this is poured concrete. When set it acts to hold the floor rigid.
Ground Floor Mezzane Laying
These tiles or mezzane are laid directly onto the joists. On top of these is then placed a steel mesh on to which is laid the concrete. When all is set the floor is strong and stable.
